MERLIN’s secure, cost-effective hosting services power everything from websites to virtual servers — giving schools, post-secondary institutions, and government agencies the infrastructure they need without the overhead they don’t.

As part of MERLIN’s IaaS service we provide clients with a hosted virtual environment including virtual server provisioning, server management, performance tiered storage, and backup services. Benefits to clients include server infrastructure and licensing cost-savings, as well as efficiencies with redundancy and fault tolerance.

This service allows clients to backup and archive various types of data stored in M365 / Google cloud services to MERLIN’s datacenter.

This data can include mailbox data and remote file storage data, as well as other related cloud service data.

Our Off-Site Immutable Data Backup service keeps your most critical files safe, secure, and tamper-proof—no matter what happens.

By storing backups in a separate physical location and locking them against changes, we ensure your data remains untouched and available when you need it most. Even in the event of a cyberattack, accidental deletion, or system failure, your backup stays clean and recoverable.

Provides a secure and simplified way of routing your network traffic on the internet.  This service provides school divisions the ability to use any commercial internet to securely, and efficiently, re-route traffic to their dedicated hosted Palo Alto firewall instance.  

This will give them the ability to perform URL and web content filtering for those SD-WAN connected sites. 

MERLIN utilizes a Fortinet SD-WAN solution that is comprised of 2x headend devices (FG-901G) at our datacenter and a FG-50G for each customer’s remote site. 

MERLIN houses, serves, and maintains websites including server space, web services, and file maintenance for websites controlled by clients that do not have their own servers.
