SUMMARY:Tabletop Exercise for Cyber Event Preparation: Ransomware
DESCRIPTION:This Tabletop Exercise for Cyber Event Preparation\, focusing specifically on Ransomware\, designed to provide insight into the many information security and cyber-related actions that are likely to follow a cyberattack within the MERLIN community\, helping leaders understand what is needed to manage during and in the aftermath of a breach. \nIt is structured as a no-fault learning experience where participants can think through their response priorities and activities\, engaging with a scenario where they will not have all the relevant information and the situation may intentionally feel unfair\, much like in real life. The workshop fosters an environment for learning from each other\, with no bad questions or answers\, aiming to help your MERLIN community practice its response\, identify faults in processes\, policy\, and technology (not people!)\, and gain insight into the various roles\, activities\, and dilemmas required in a real-life security incident to assess MERLIN’s and the education sector’s readiness. \nContact us for full details and registration.
